Power module also called as power electronic module is a power switching/control circuit element integrated into convenient isolated-base package that offers a broad spectrum of commonly used diode, SCR, or SCR/Diode circuit configurations and ratings. Power modules can provide power to semiconductor devices, cool the device as well as connect them to the outer circuit.
