A Logic family of monolithic digital integrated circuit device contains a group of electronic logic gates constructed using one of several different designs which uses digital logic and perform Boolean logic functions, usually with compatible logic levels and power supply characteristics within a family. Encoder/Decoder, Multiplexer/Demultiplexer, Translator, Gates, Comparators, Bus Drivers are few examples of Logic ICs.
