A Logic family of monolithic digital integrated circuit devices contains a group of electronic logic gates constructed using one of several different designs which use digital logic and perform Boolean logic functions, usually with compatible logic levels and power supply characteristics within a family. Encoder/Decoders, Multiplexer/Demultiplexers, Translators, Gates, Comparators, and Bus Drivers are few examples of Logic ICs.
